Light Insurance Solutions Limited (LIS) is a registered General Insurance Corporate agency firm incorporated in 2019 as a Ghanaian-owned private limited liability company.
Manned by some of the finest and experienced persons within the industry, LIS is steadily carving a niche as one of the fastest growing customer-oriented start-up companies in the sector.
We are devoted to exercising our duty of care by seeking the best interest of our clients without compromising professionalism and integrity.

At LIS, we serve our clients by identifying individual and business risks and providing expert advice on strategies to mitigate such.
Accordingly, we conduct rigorous assessment of our clients’ business environment, internal procedures and controls to ascertain both existing and potential business risks; whiles keenly monitoring developments within both the local and international insurance markets.
Our expertise centres on commanding extremely competitive rates on behalf of our clients and putting forward the most suitable insurance policies thereof. We take charge in pursuing our clients’ claims under the various insurance covers in real time.

Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Owusu, the CEO of the company has over 10 years working experience from working in both the brokerage and main stream insurance industry.
He started his career as an insurance underwriter, sales and marketing executive with First Anchor Risk Management. He then moved to Safeguard Insurance Brokers as its Business Development Manager.
By dint of hard work and dedication to his work, he was poached by Vanguard Assurance to head its micro-insurance subsidiary and subsequently moved to manage its Spintex Branch, a position he held for six years with excellence until he left in March, 2023.
Education: Edward holds a BSc in Insurance and Master of Arts in Marketing Strategy from the University of Ghana Business School. He also holds a Certificate in Risk Management from the Commercial Institute of Management in UK.
He is Chartered insurance professional and an associate member of the chartered insurance institute in UK (CII-UK) and Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG).
He is currently pursuing a program in Law (LL.B) at GIMPA.
